4th of July in Rockaway Beach

4th of July is always a special event in Rockaway Beach. We dedicate the Independence Day to all those who served our country in the Army and Navy, in the Police and Fire Brigades, in Schools and Hospitals, Nursing Homes and in the Environmental Community.

Many New Yorkers and guests of the City flock to Rockaway Beach for spectacular fireworks display, cruises around New York City Harbor, picnics on the beach, and a stroll or a bike on the Boardwalk. This year was an exceptional year for all - the record numbers of people coming to Rockaway Beach to enjoy legendary Rockaway breeze and sightseeing of fireworks.
